John Downer, O.D.

John Downer, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Miami University.

Dr. Downer completed his post-doctoral residency in ocular disease at Indiana University. Dr. Downer founded Comprehensive Eye Care in Beavercreek in 2003 and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and he has participated in Special Olympics Sports Vision screenings.

Dr. Downer has completed mission trips in Honduras and Belize. In his free time, he enjoys spending with his wife, Mary Jo, and their three children; Claire, Catherine, and Luke.

Dr. Downer sees patients in Beavercreek, Springfield, and Centerville.
